Dr Laura Groombridge, MBBS FRACP

Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician

Dr Laura Groombridge completed her Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 1993. Dr Groombridge completed her trainee at public hospitals across Australia. She spent time as a Senior Lecturer in clinical, ethical and community medicine at the UWA.

Dr Groombridge has practiced as a Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician and Cardiac Imaging Physician since 2005 for private and public hospitals in Western Australia, as well as private medical imaging providers in regional and metropolitan Western Australia and Canberra.  Dr Groombridge joined Global Diagnostics in 2017 as a Consultant Nuclear Medicine & PET Physician at South West Health Campus where she supervises and provides a comprehensive nuclear medicine service including PET/CT, SPECT/ CT and cardiac stress testing and day to day clinical leadership to the staff and doctors working in the practice. Dr Groombridge is a Fellow of the Australian College of Physicians.
