Julie Davey
General Manager
With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across a broad sector of healthcare organisations, Julie brings a unique set of skills, perspectives and knowledge to lead Apex Radiology into the future.
Julie is a strategic, people-focused, and collaborative leader and under her leadership we hope to hone our strategic direction, drive growth and development across our organisation and strengthen our partnerships with external stakeholders.
Julie’s previous positions include National Manager for Johnson & Johnson, Regional Sales and Operations Manager for Sigma Healthcare, State Business Manager for Western Diagnostic Pathology and more recently, Executive General Manager of Medical & Mental Health Services with Women’s Health & Family Services.
Key successes have included leading the national launch of new Neurology Medications, developing new health services, achieving NSQHS accreditation and leading the digital transformation across several clinical areas and teams.
Julie has collaborated and partnered with private agencies, not for profit, medical organisations and government departments including the WA Department of Health and the WA Country Health Service and is passionate about delivering the best possible service and patient outcomes.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours, majoring in Biotechnology and Medical Physiology from UWA and has also studied management with the Macquarie School of Management (MGSM).
Trish Royale
Administration Services Manager
Trish is an experienced clinical administration manager who has completed a Diploma in Practice Management.
She started her career in reception within the Allied Health industry and has progressed to management positions in Allied Health, Dental and Disability Service.
Trish has a passion for empowering leadership to drive outstanding customer service interactions for both our internal and external networks.
Shaun Barber
Regional Services Manager – Peel
Shaun graduated from QUT with a BSC in Diagnostic Radiography in 1994.
Shaun also holds a post graduate Degree in Nuclear Medicine from University of Newcastle.
Shaun joined Apex Radiology in 2022, coming from a background of private and public.
Shaun comes with a long-established experience in management and supervisory roles.
Shaun has worked as Senior MIT in a range of country practices and Chief MIT at large remote sites.
Shaun is focused on commitment to patient care and quality imaging delivery.
Chris Love
Regional Services Manager – Busselton
Chris graduated from Curtin University of Technology in 1992 with a BSc. Science (Medical Imaging) and spent 18 years working in the radiology department at Royal Perth Hospital in various roles including general radiography, interventional/angiography imaging and was the PACS/RIS administrator for the implementation and upgrading of the WA Picture Archiving and Communication System.
Having also worked as an application specialist and PACS/RIS consultant/project manager Chris has developed a thorough understanding of radiology workflows and requirements to provide the very best of service to our referring clients.
In 2013 Chris moved to the the South West and joined Apex Radiology, Busselton.
As the Site Manager Chris’ focus is to provide the very best of service to the patients and the referring clinicians.
Jane Ramsay
Regional Services Manager – Bunbury
Jane graduated from Salford University with a BSC (HONS) in Diagnostic Radiography in 1999, she also holds a post graduate diploma in Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI).
Jane joined Apex Radiology in 2004, coming from the Uk. Jane comes into this role with a strong clinical and leadership background.
With a wealth of knowledge and understanding to this position.
She has worked as a chief radiographer for the past 6 years and MRI services manager for Apex Radiology.
Jane’s focus is on delivering the highest quality of service to patients and referrers within the region.
John Prosper
Regional Services Manager – Metro South
John graduated from Curtin University in 1990 with a Diploma of Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiography, and in 1994 completed a Curtin University Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Imaging Advanced Techniques (CT & MRI).
John has extensive experience in radiology, including having lead teams from analogue to digital imaging over his 30 years’ clinical experience.
He began his career at RPH honing his tertiary hospital and major trauma imaging skills.
He commenced his private radiology journey with SKG Radiology at SJOG Murdoch where he progressed to a supervisory role, and a senior CT and MRI technologist.
At Hollywood Hospital he became an Operations Manager, leading a team in providing a high-quality imaging service with successful financial outcomes.
He later moved into an MRI Manager role helping grow the modality and providing a quality imaging service.
After a short time away the hunger to return to medical imaging placed him in a Practice Manager role with I-MED Radiology (previously Insight Clinical Imaging), where he was also the MRI Lead for the Perth business.
He is a PACS super-user, proficient in health and safety, radiation and MRI safety, with sound financial, supervisory, operations and time management skills.
Together with Apex Radiology’s values John’s focus is on promoting a premium imaging service for the Perth metropolitan area, provide help and support to staff and referrers, and deliver the best health outcomes for patients.
Annah Mungate
Regional Services Manager – WACHS
Annah graduated from Hertfordshire University with a BSc (Hons) in diagnostic radiography in 2007 and has worked across the UK in different clinical settings and roles including chief radiographer, senior MIT and Imaging Services Manager.
Annah relocated to Perth in 2018 and has worked at The Mount Hospital as a Senior MIT in catheter and vascular labs.
She recently joined Apex Radiology as Regional Services Manager with the WA Country Health Service contracts.
Annah brings a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care and will focus on improving our patient’s overall experience.
