Dr Arthur Daire

Clinical Director
Dr Arthur Daire is a fellow of College of Radiology, South Africa.
He completed his medicine and radiology training in South Africa (Cape Town) and has worked as a Senior Registrar and Consultant Radiologist in South Africa, Malawi and Australia.
Dr Daire completed the Australian fellowship exams in 2017. Arthur joined Apex Radiology as a Consultant Radiologist in 2015 in the Bunbury region and stepped up to Clinical Director with Apex in 2022.
He has a broad range of radiology skills including conventional radiography, CT, MRI, mammography, basic interventional and ultrasound.
Dr Yogesh Mate

Consultant Radiologist
Dr Yogesh Mate is is a fellow of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists. He graduated in Medicine and completed radiology training in India at the Government Medical College, Aurangabad in 2003.
Dr Mate worked as Senior Registrar in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital New Delhi from 2003 to 2006. He worked as Senior Registrar in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, Western Australia and Global Diagnostics from 2010 to 2012.
In 2012, Dr Mate joined Apex Radiology as Consultant Radiologist and completed the Australian fellowship exam in 2013. He has a special interest in intervention, neurology and musculoskeletal.
Dr Mate works full-time in the South West region as well as providing onsite interventional radiology services to the Narrogin Hospital, Port Hedland Hospital and the Nickol Bay Hospital.
Dr David Malem
MBBS, BSc (Hons), FRANZCR
Consultant Radiologist
Dr David Malem is a consultant radiologist and fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). He holds a medical degree with an intercalated BSc (Hons) in neuroscience from the University of London.
Before embarking on his radiology training in Western Australia, Dr Malem gained extensive experience in various surgical disciplines, including neurosurgery as well as emergency medicine across the East and West Coast of Australia. While working on the East Coast, he served as a clinical lecturer in neuroanatomy and clinical tutor in clinical skills at Australian National University (ANU) and was recognised with a Patient Care Award.
Dr Malem gained his Neuroradiology Fellowship from the Neurological Intervention and Imaging Service of Western Australia (NIISWA), the first specialist Neuroradiology department in Australasia. He specialises in neuroradiology and his practice also includes general radiology and interventional procedures. Dr Malem works from Apex Radiology O’Connor.
Dr Bhavesh Dave
MBBS, MD, DNB, FRANZCR
Consultant Radiologist
Dr Bhavesh Dave is a fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiology. He graduated in medicine and completed radiology training in India following which he obtained fellowship training in Interventional and neuro-interventional radiology at Austin Health, Victoria, and The Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia. Dr Dave passed his FRANZCR IN 2004 and has been practicing as a Consultant Radiologist in Australia for 14 years.
Dr Dave has assisted Apex Radiology in providing regional and Teleradiology reporting radiology services since 2007. His special area of interest lies in ER Radiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.
Dr Mamta Dave

Consultant Radiologist
Dr Mamta Dave is a fellow of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists. She graduated in medicine and completed radiology training in BJMC Ahmedabad following which she worked as a senior registrar in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, SA and The Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia.
Dr Dave has been practicing as a Consultant Radiologist in Australia for 12 years. She has assisted Apex Radiology in providing regional and Telerad reporting radiology services since 2007. Her special area of interest lies in ER Radiology and Thoracic Imaging.
Dr Radika Karunarathne
MBBS, FRANZCR
Consultant Radiologist
Dr Radika Karunarathne graduated from the University of Colombo Sri Lanka. Dr Karunarathne obtained two years of radiology training in South and Western Australia and received her fellowship at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2016.
Dr. Karunarathne served as Head of the Imaging Department and worked as a Specialist Radiologist at Nawaloka Hospitals (PLC), Sri Lanka.
Dr Karunarathne is qualified in reporting general x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and mammograms. She is competent in performing fluroscopy, ultrasound, stereotactic and CT guided procedures.
