Dr David Malem is a consultant radiologist and fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). He holds a medical degree with an intercalated BSc (Hons) in neuroscience from the University of London.

Before embarking on his radiology training in Western Australia, Dr Malem gained extensive experience in various surgical disciplines, including neurosurgery as well as emergency medicine across the East and West Coast of Australia. While working on the East Coast, he served as a clinical lecturer in neuroanatomy and clinical tutor in clinical skills at Australian National University (ANU) and was recognised with a Patient Care Award.

Dr Malem gained his Neuroradiology Fellowship from the Neurological Intervention and Imaging Service of Western Australia (NIISWA), the first specialist Neuroradiology department in Australasia. He specialises in neuroradiology and his practice also includes general radiology and interventional procedures.  Dr Malem works from Apex Radiology O’Connor.
