John Prosper

John graduated from Curtin University in 1990 with a Diploma of Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiography, and in 1994 completed a Curtin University Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Imaging Advanced Techniques (CT & MRI).
John has extensive experience in radiology, including having lead teams from analogue to digital imaging over his 30 years’ clinical experience. He began his career at RPH honing his tertiary hospital and major trauma imaging skills. He commenced his private radiology journey with SKG Radiology at SJOG Murdoch where he progressed to a supervisory role, and a senior CT and MRI technologist. At Hollywood Hospital he became an Operations Manager, leading a team in providing a high-quality imaging service with successful financial outcomes. He later moved into an MRI Manager role helping grow the modality and providing a quality imaging service. After a short time away the hunger to return to medical imaging placed him in a Practice Manager role with I-MED Radiology (previously Insight Clinical Imaging), where he was also the MRI Lead for the Perth business. He is a PACS super-user, proficient in health and safety, radiation and MRI safety, with sound financial, supervisory, operations and time management skills.
Together with Apex Radiology’s values John’s focus is on promoting a premium imaging service for the Perth metropolitan area, provide help and support to staff and referrers, and deliver the best health outcomes for patients.
